Year Model: 2022
Size: M
Boot size: Women’s 9
Board used: Never Summer Harpoon & Amplid Lovelife
Flex: Medium/Stiff
Shock Absorption: Amazing shock absorption.
Entry/Exit: Excellent, very easy to get in and out of. The ankle straps have a serration designed to keep them open instead of flipping back over the binding. This makes them extremely easy to get into while standing up. The Now Conda’s buckles are strong and lightweight and about 20% lighter than the average buckles.
Comfort: The Now Conda bindings are really comfortable! The straps are grippy and moldable, the toe strap can go over the top of your foot or around your toe. The ankle straps can be switched from foot to foot to offer different types of support based on what you want. These bindings just overall feel really comfortable.
Who would love them: An all-mountain, pretty aggressive freeride rider would love these bindings. While not designed specifically for park, I feel like I can still get a lot of pop while using them. The Now Conda bindings are responsive and transfer energy really well. They are great if you ride in trees a lot because they make tight turns easier. Overall they are very comfortable for long days on the slopes.
What Stands Out: The best part of these bindings is the Skate Technology used. The Now Conda bindings have pads on all four corners, transferring the points of contact to the corners of the binding instead of the center of the binding. This provides a highly responsive ride. I felt like I didn’t have to work as hard to make turns. The energy I put into turns goes directly to the edges of the board instead of getting lost. Foot fatigue is reduced because of this design, however, I don’t deal with foot pain often so I didn’t notice this. The Now Conda bindings are very comfortable. I also love that the ankle strap stays open so you can get in and out easily.
Overall Feeling: I’m in love with the Now Conda bindings. I preferred them on my Harpoon over the Lovelife, but would happily ride them on both. The responsiveness is amazing, and I’m really impressed with their overall comfort. I’d definitely recommend the Now Conda bindings and I would buy them again.
